Description
This artwork presents a minimalist sketch of a person, primarily defined by a few precise pencil lines. The figure's facial features are hinted at rather than detailed, capturing an expression that suggests contemplation or speech. Above, a subtle gray and blue brushstroke adds a touch of modern abstraction, contrasting with the simplicity of the pencil work. Below, a soft yellow wash introduces warmth and balance to the composition. The use of negative space is prominent, directing focus to the interplay of sketch and watercolor. This piece uniquely combines simplicity with expressive potential, drawing viewers to ponder the harmony between structured lines and fluid color.
Presentation
Born in Madrid 52 years ago, the city of museums. I studied arts and crafts (specialty in Interior Design) at the Vinateros school.
Later working as a freelance Infographist for architects, the passion for art accompanied me during all those years, although without putting all the effort into it. The event of the pandemic, and the subsequent confinement represent a radical change in my artistic performance, realizing my potential and definitely betting on art.
