Description
An artist represented by Galerie Plurielle, Marco celebrates the charm of Sète with the warmth and vitality that characterize his pictorial universe. From a high terrace, he offers a dazzling and generous view of the city, bathed in light and movement. The work combines spontaneity and construction, in a composition where each element—the boats, the rooftops, the characters—seems animated by its own energy.

Marco is the painter of happiness, and true to his approach, he conveys to us through color and movement, a joyful vision of the world without giving in to anecdote. This painting offers a reading that is both intimate and universal of the contemplation of a landscape, through the transcription of the atmosphere of a place and the quality of a moment.
Presentation
Marco was born in Munich in 1973. After studying art in Cardiff and Falmouth (Great Britain), he received a UNESCO scholarship for a residency at the Paa Ya Paa art center in Nairobi ( Kenya). The resulting work will be exhibited at the UN headquarters in Gigiri.
During his travels around the world, he tries various artistic practices, such as metal sculpture, the creation of installations and ornamental photography. At the pace of his travels, Marco's work is also imbued with his various human and artistic encounters, thus becoming the original product of an intercultural fusion.
Even beyond the singularity of his career, it is the playful musicality that emanates from Marco's paintings that makes each of his works a real concentrate of happiness and expressionist inventiveness. The artist invites us through each of his compositions to enter weightlessness into a positive universe. An ode to Carpe-Diem!
Now based in the south of France, Marco exhibits permanently, in France, at the Galerie Plurielle in Sète (34).
