The artist captures the crystalline purity of winter air and the way sunlight dances across the snow. The ground is covered with thick patches of snow, painted in luminous tones of white, soft lavender, icy blue, and subtle turquoise. The shadows cast by the trees stretch long and cool across the snow's surface, giving a sense of time—likely morning or early afternoon—when the sun is low but strong. These shadows create rhythm and structure, anchoring the verticality of the trees to the forest floor. Zhitomir artist Suprunchuk Yuri Sergeevich Born on April 11, 1961, in the city of Zhitomir. Graduated from the Zheleznogorsk Art School, Russia (1982). Teachers in the specialty: V. Chukuev, E. Nikulin. Painter. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (2002). Major works: "Near the house" (2005), "Winter on the outskirts of Zhitomir" (2006), "Autumn still life" (2004). Lived and worked in the city of Zhitomir.
