The oil painting on cardboard titled "Path in the Winter Forest" presents a harmonious, tranquil scene of nature embracing the quietude of winter. At first glance, it invites the viewer into a snowy expanse framed by a dense collection of trees, showcasing a serene forest bathed in soft daylight. The delicate combination of brushstrokes and color creates an almost tangible chill in the air, while the gently winding path through the snow serves as both a compositional anchor and an emotional guide, drawing the viewer deeper into the natural silence of the setting. Dominating the background is a stand of tall, dark pine and spruce trees, their evergreen needles brushed in rich, earthy tones of green, brown, and deep blue. Zhitomir artist Suprunchuk Yuri Sergeevich Born on April 11, 1961, in the city of Zhitomir. Graduated from the Zheleznogorsk Art School, Russia (1982). Teachers in the specialty: V. Chukuev, E. Nikulin. Painter. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine (2002). Major works: "Near the house" (2005), "Winter on the outskirts of Zhitomir" (2006), "Autumn still life" (2004). Lived and worked in the city of Zhitomir.
