Description

This striking artwork is a dynamic explosion of abstract forms and patterns, displaying a masterful interplay of color and texture. Dominated by whimsical shapes, the composition juxtaposes vibrant, multicolored patches with muted earthy tones, creating a visual harmony that is both chaotic and cohesive. Bold outlines and intricate patterns add depth and intrigue, drawing the viewer's eye across the canvas. The contrasting elements provide a sense of movement, as if the shapes are in a perpetual state of transformation. Intricate details within the shapes, reminiscent of mosaic or collage, enhance the complexity and intricacy of the piece. The artist's innovative use of negative space and layered techniques amplifies the sense of depth, making this artwork a captivating exploration of abstract expression. This piece stands as a testament to the power of abstraction in evoking emotion and sparking imagination.

These works explore our relationship with the incredible biodiversity of our planet Earth. Visual representations of flowing colours, smells, sounds and the feeling of our life source. Through painting and sculpture, Gregory Robin conveys the feeling of being present in a living, biodiverse ecosystem. He uses colors, anthropomorphic forms and the inner workings of living species. Robins' land art practice encompasses the exploration of ancient earthworks, ecosystems, biodiversity, microclimates, biology, permanent agriculture (also known as permaculture), geology and its intrinsic value to the species that inhabit it. The artist's goal is to create a living installation, establishing a connection with the natural world. From the series Polyculture Signed bottom right corner Unframed
