Description

This artwork is a dynamic abstract composition, showcasing a rich tapestry of colors and shapes. The piece features an intricate array of overlapping brushstrokes that converge into a mesmerizing visual mosaic. Predominant hues of grey, green, and muted blues interlace with occasional bursts of earthy tones, creating a sense of depth and movement. The artist's technique is assertive, utilizing bold strokes that suggest both chaos and harmony. The painting evokes a sense of organic complexity, reminiscent of nature's patterns, yet maintains an ambiguity that invites personal interpretation. The interplay of light and shadow adds dimensionality, drawing the viewer deeper into the canvas. This artwork stands out for its bold abstraction, offering a unique, contemplative experience that challenges the observer to discern order within apparent disorder.

These works explore our relationship with the incredible biodiversity of our planet Earth. Visual representations of flowing colours, smells, sounds and the feeling of our life source.

Through painting and sculpture, Gregory Robin conveys the feeling of being present in a living, biodiverse ecosystem. He uses colors, anthropomorphic forms and the inner workings of living species. Robins' land art practice encompasses the exploration of ancient earthworks, ecosystems, biodiversity, microclimates, biology, permanent agriculture (also known as permaculture), geology and its intrinsic value to the species that inhabit it. The artist's goal is to create a living installation, establishing a connection with the natural world.
