Pascale Carrier

Pascale Carrier discovers painting with Zao-Wou-Ki and Turner, her first pictorial shocks which form an approach inspired by lyrical abstraction.

His work ?

An incessant exploration of color, material and shapes ... She expresses, in her own words, the meaning of her approach: "When I start a job, I never know how far my exploration will take me, to where the emotions will take me. It is a real journey to set off on the canvas, the kraft or the sheet, gradually taming what appears there, springs up, emerges ... "His different series reveal the themes a work that is expressed in all formats, small and large. With "Vibrant materials", the superposition of plasters and layers that mingle and intertwine bring out effects, textures ...

In "Intimate Territories", shadow and light, metamorphosed by the evocation of shapes and colors, echo in lands of mystery ... "Traces and imprints", it is the impulsiveness of the gesture or the textures , spots and tints are revealed in a synergy of colors… Finally, "Explorations" is the place of the search for new expressions by improvisation and letting go… Pascale Carrier lives in Seine-et-Marne, in a house forest in the middle of the woods.
