Description
This abstract artwork presents a bold marriage of vibrant colors, where shades of blue and orange dominate the composition. The upper portion is bathed in an intense orange light, evoking a fiery sunset, while softer hues of blue and yellow intertwine across the rest of the canvas. The brushstrokes are fluid and expressive, creating a dynamic movement that guides the eye through the scene. Touches of red and green add depth and contrast, enriching the visual complexity. The interplay between warm and cool colors explores a captivating duality, suggesting a harmonious tension between sea and sun. This piece embodies a peaceful intensity, where each color seems to converse with the other, offering a visual experience that is both energizing and calming.
Presentation
From my life in Haute-Savoie on the shores of Lake Geneva to the Périgord Vert region where I settled in 2017, nothing predestined me for artistic creation. And yet, it was a part of destiny that led me to create my first canvases, and to want to do nothing else but paint, again and again.
A skills assessment helped me understand that art was the path to explore. The support process was lengthy because, being hard of hearing, I had lost all confidence in myself and my ability to achieve professional fulfillment. By instilling in me the necessary confidence to take the plunge, the artist within me was awakened!
A self-taught painter since 2021, abstract art naturally became my medium, thanks to the complete freedom it gives me to never restrict myself and to let my hand work. I paint spontaneously!
It is in the solitude of my studio that my canvases become what they decide to be...
