Presentation

Born in the heart of Siberia, I grew up in an environment of vast plains and harsh winters until the age of twenty-six. However, it was the discovery of the Altai Mountains and the steppes of Mongolia that marked a decisive turning point in my journey: unspoiled nature, animist traditions, an almost cosmic silence. Since childhood, drawing has always been a means of expression, but these stays awakened in me a deep need: to translate onto canvas the intensity of a landscape or the density of a gaze.

Keen to reconcile creativity and pragmatism, I initially focused my career on architecture. A graduate of the Novosibirsk Academy of Architecture and Fine Arts, I continued my training in France, obtaining a Master's degree from the Strasbourg School of Architecture in 2014. This dual skill set allowed me to develop a rigorous perspective on the construction of space, precise drawing, and the mastery of volumes—fundamentals that still inform my visual work today.

From 2015 onwards, painting definitively established itself as my main mode of expression. I then abandoned the architect's rule to explore, through increasingly larger formats, an artistic research based on gesture, vitality and the tension of materials.
