Description
This work boldly juxtaposes a classic countryside landscape, typical of the European pastoral style, with an animated comic figure, creating a striking contrast. In the background, a winding path runs alongside a peaceful pond, lined with verdant trees under a sky in soft tints of dusk. The rustic house, surrounded by lush foliage, adds a touch of authenticity and serenity to the natural scene. In the foreground, the contemporary, caricatured element stands out strongly with its bright colors and animated style, humorously disrupting the bucolic tranquility of the whole. This unexpected fusion of pictorial tradition and playful modernity invites us to reflect on the coexistence of eras and genres, while provoking a smile. The work is challenging, amusing in its audacity and fascinating in its harmonious composition.
Presentation
Currently, my work is articulated between these pop diversions, canvases where the pop spirit is more present, and more direct drawings with Posca. I like my works to reflect a certain vitality, which is why you will often find bright colors, sometimes even fluorescent, and plays of light that bring dynamism. My goal is for color and energy to be felt in each piece.
