Description
This captivating artwork presents a bold juxtaposition of primary colors. Horizontal bands stretch across the canvas, each imbued with a distinct presence. Bright yellow dominates the upper portion, suggesting light. In the center, a darker blue band creates a striking contrast, evoking mystery. The lower portion is a gradient of reds that brings energy. Without resorting to any standout materials, I utilized the specific qualities of each pigment and successive layers of oil paint to achieve maximum expression. This simple yet powerful composition demands mastery of color. The subtle transitions and lack of defined forms leave room for personal interpretation, inviting the viewer to explore their own emotions in response to this vibrant and bold work.
(A unique creation, which in addition to its signature on the front, is titled, dated and certified original on the back by the artist).
Presentation
A professional artist since 1995, Eric Winzenried lives in western France. Passionate about landscapes, both real and imagined, he has made them the heart of his work. His exploration of color and synthesis has naturally led him to contemporary landscape painting, while maintaining a high standard of quality in his creations. His series are resolutely abstract, where contemplation and aesthetics take center stage. For him, landscape is much more than a subject: it is a space of freedom where color becomes a language. Convinced of the influence of color on the body and mind, he crafts creations imbued with harmony, offering a unique visual and emotional experience.
