Description
In this contemporary creation, I wanted to pay personal homage to a major philosophical concept in China: the water cycle, sometimes found in Chinese landscape paintings and also in poetry. Water descending from the sky onto the mountain is first snow and transforms into a stream. Then it evaporates again into mist upon contact with the earth and finally reappears in the clouds above the mountain... This perpetual cycle is a fundamental circle of life for both nature and humanity. I worked on this landscape with energetic brushstrokes and approached color by layering it to create transparencies reminiscent of water. The water cycle is an ode to life and to the all-powerful nature of the universe. A unique and meaningful creation that will integrate perfectly into a contemporary interior.
Presentation
A professional artist since 1995, Eric Winzenried lives in western France. Passionate about landscapes, both real and imagined, he has made them the heart of his work. His exploration of color and synthesis has naturally led him to contemporary landscape painting, while maintaining a high standard of quality in his creations. His series are resolutely abstract, where contemplation and aesthetics take center stage. For him, landscape is much more than a subject: it is a space of freedom where color becomes a language. Convinced of the influence of color on the body and mind, he crafts creations imbued with harmony, offering a unique visual and emotional experience.
