Description
For this unexpected work, I wanted to create a surreal landscape where powerful contrasts amplify a bold color scheme. An imaginary landscape is always an opportunity to offer something unexpected and different. Using oil paints, I never sacrifice quality for the sake of modernity, and I take the time to do things properly. The very dark central section, also created with successive layers of paint (without using black), seems to absorb the gaze. The quality and depth of the colors invite the viewer to contemplation and reflection. Immersing oneself in a world outside of everyday life offers the chance to awaken emotions and rediscover one's own imagination. This expressionist painting will bring a contained energy and a touch of mystery to your living space.
(A unique creation, which in addition to its signature on the front, is titled, dated and certified original on the back by the artist).
Presentation
A professional artist since 1995, Eric Winzenried lives in western France. Passionate about landscapes, both real and imagined, he has made them the heart of his work. His exploration of color and synthesis has naturally led him to contemporary landscape painting, while maintaining a high standard of quality in his creations. His series are resolutely abstract, where contemplation and aesthetics take center stage. For him, landscape is much more than a subject: it is a space of freedom where color becomes a language. Convinced of the influence of color on the body and mind, he crafts creations imbued with harmony, offering a unique visual and emotional experience.
