Description
This artwork is a striking example of abstract expressionism, utilizing bold, black outlines to carve geometric shapes that interact dynamically across the canvas. The composition is characterized by its vibrant primary colors—red, blue, and yellow—set against a stark white background, imbuing the piece with a sense of energy and movement. The overlapping forms create an intricate interplay of space and color, reminiscent of both early modernist and cubist influences. This technique draws the viewer's eye to the intersections and juxtapositions of colors and shapes, inviting a deeper exploration of the artwork's layers. The black lines not only define but also connect the fragmented shapes, adding depth and cohesion to the chaotic yet harmonious arrangement. This piece challenges traditional perceptions, encouraging viewers to discern patterns and meanings within the abstract forms, reflecting the artist's innovative approach to visual storytelling.
Presentation
Self-taught, I express myself through abstract art, working primarily with markers. My work explores shapes, lines, and contrasts in an instinctive approach where gesture plays a central role.
