Description
This captivating artwork presents a school of stylized fish, bathed in a swirl of blue and green hues. Each fish, with its angular and dynamic forms, is rendered with a vibrant palette that evokes the fluid movement of the ocean. The fish's bright yellow eyes provide a striking contrast to the surrounding soothing tones, immediately drawing the viewer's eye. The precisely constructed composition creates a sense of collective energy, symbolizing the harmony and synergy of the underwater world. The artist skillfully plays with shapes and colors to convey a sense of depth and vibrancy, transforming this aquatic scene into a vibrant visual spectacle. This painting is not merely a representation of nature, but an artistic exploration of the interplay of color and form, captivating the observer with its unique intensity and vitality.
Presentation
In Florence Tedeschi's work, the interplay of lines provokes a conversation, a conflict with color. His pictorial creations, marked by his experience as a textile designer, play with shapes that fit together to invade space like a puzzle.
First traced in a quick and spontaneous gesture, the lines intersect, intertwine. The calm compositions built according to lines of force create a visual energy that leads the viewer into a labyrinth.
The eye follows a path to lead it towards a dynamically balanced image. The themes tackled, terrestrial landscape, submarines, scene of life, are always the occasion to link forms, colors, features and light.
Close to textile patterns, we find in his paintings and engravings, cloisonné plans, simplified shapes, very colorful flat areas in line with a whole generation of artists who liked to play with lines and unstructured shapes - Adami, Chaissac , Matisse, Niki de St Phalle, Fernand Léger, Miró. In front of the work, the spectator feels a calm and joyful sensation like an invitation to daydream.
