Description
This captivating artwork presents an abstract face rendered in white strokes against a dark, textured background. The wavy lines draw flowing hair, contrasting with the angular contours of the face. The geometric shapes of the eyes and nose bring an enigmatic dimension to the composition. The shoulders, suggested by parallel lines, add a rhythmic structure to the whole. The use of monochromy amplifies the mystery and intensity of the image, encouraging a deep exploration of human emotions. This work stands out for its ability to combine simplicity and complexity, captivating the viewer through an interplay of contrasts and potential interpretations.
Presentation
FROM CHAOS TO THE LIVING BEING
When I paint or draw, I start from chaos, I begin to paint spontaneously simple elements, forms, lines, surfaces arranged without preconceived ideas on the canvas. These elements intertwine, associate and give birth to complex forms. I reveal then by drawing on this bottom: figures, members, bodies, objects.
This creates diversified characters, which come from the chaos and inscribe their reality. It is a spontaneous, physical and spiritual act.
