This expressive impasto landscape captures Mount Ararat in the warm glow of autumn. Thick, textured layers of oil paint create a vibrant tapestry of ochres, oranges, golds, and greens—an ode to the season's richness. The majestic snow-capped peaks rise quietly in the distance, their cool blues and whites contrasting beautifully with the fiery foliage below.
The artist's palette-knife technique brings a sculptural quality to the scene, allowing light to dance across the textured surface. Every stroke radiates movement and emotion—fields shifting in the wind, trees glowing under the sun, and Ararat standing timelessly over the valley.
Despite its small size, this piece carries immense atmosphere and depth, offering a poetic moment of stillness in nature.
