Autumn Wanderer, 2024

Iryna Kobzar

2026 is the Year of the Horse, and I feel its energy approaching - confident, swift, like the breath of a new path and new horizons.
Meanwhile, autumn slowly retreats, its brilliance fading into softer tones. By capturing it on canvas, one can always return to its warmth - to the gold, the stillness, the quiet glow of the season.
In this painting, the horse becomes a traveler between seasons and spaces.
He carries the stories of autumn on his skin and moves forward with quiet strength and inner light.
This is how Autumn Wanderer was born - a reminder that every change is a movement forward.

This artwork belongs to the series “Horses - a Special Love."
Since childhood, horses have captivated me - their grace, their dignity, their untamed spirit. I have always been drawn to their presence: the rhythm of their steps, the power beneath their calm, the freedom in their gaze.
That lifelong fascination lives within my work, guiding each line and stroke.
For me, horses are more than a subject; they are a timeless symbol of beauty, strength, and a deep emotional connection.
