Volodymyr Kovalov

«Red and white» by Ukrainian artist Volodymyr Kovalov is a masterfully hand-painted original artwork that bridges the expressive spontaneity of Pour Painting with the delicate detail of Realism Painting. Created in a unique fusion of Impressionistic Style and contemporary Floral Art, this canvas painting captivates with its vibrant textures, luscious color palette, and emotionally resonant composition. At the heart of this still life lies a stunning bouquet of varied peonies — blooming in full glory, rendered in passionate brushstrokes and layered tones. The artist's interpretation of different peony varieties—from pale pinks to deep burgundies—evokes both visual richness and symbolic depth, traditionally associated with romance, abundance, and quiet nobility. Rendered in rich, layered oil paints, the work embodies a dynamic interplay between movement and stillness, drawing the viewer into a meditative contemplation of beauty, transience, and nature's quiet exuberance. Kovalov's technique combines controlled brushwork with freeform pour effects, creating a tactile visual rhythm that enhances the still life genre with modern sensitivity. This original painting is not only a piece of fine art, but also a statement piece for any home décor collection or art gallery display.Whether you are a collector or a lover of colorful painting, this one-of-a-kind piece speaks to the timeless elegance of nature and the power of handcrafted beauty.
