Description
This artwork presents a mesmerizing composition of meticulously arranged blue scales, forming a hypnotic spiral pattern. Each scale is precisely aligned, creating a dynamic sense of movement that draws the viewer's eye towards the center. The vibrant blue color dominates the canvas, offering a sense of tranquility and depth. However, a single orange scale interrupts this uniformity, adding a striking contrast that captivates attention. This unique element serves as a focal point, symbolizing individuality amidst uniformity. The harmonious blend of color and form results in a visually engaging piece that encourages contemplation on themes of identity and difference. The repetitive yet intricate pattern demonstrates the artist's skill in creating balance and harmony, making this artwork both visually appealing and thought-provoking.
Presentation
Born in 1977 in Yerevan, Armenia, Aykaz Arzumanyan is a professional painter. He grew up close to the mountains Ararat, by the famous Hrazdan river where Noah settled with his ark.
In 1993, he moves with his parents to Russia and studies art law at the MGOU University. Being a legal practitioner, he is in touch with artists and galeries and organizes exhibitions of international scope. These years of accompanying and frequenting artists ignites his desire of creating his own artworks. Aykaz Arzumanyan devotes then his life to art.
After several trips to France, he moves there permanently in 2004.
Today, he is a renowned plastic artist and painter, whose studio is a laboratory where he explores techniques and materials. The artist has developed over the years a unique style, abstract and modern at the same time.
Each stroke is applied on the canvas with a great precision. The slightest slip-up causes him to begin the painting from scratch. However, his acute meticulousness does not prevent him to pour love into his work. Indeed, photographs of his paintings fail to do justice to his creations.
