Description
This captivating artwork presents a harmony of horizontal bands in contrasting colors. Dominated by shades of blue and yellow, it evokes a rich interplay between sky and earth. The upper band, a deep and soothing blue, suggests a vast celestial perspective. Below, a fluid transition to black and white hues expresses an intriguing duality, posing the question of light versus darkness. The bright, warm yellow at the base lends an essential earthly vitality. Each band is marked by subtle textures, adding a tactile depth that stimulates the imagination. This work, through its apparent simplicity, exudes emotional power thanks to the bold and balanced use of color, transforming a minimalist composition into a profound visual journey.
(The title, date, and original certificate signed by the artist are located on the back of the painting. The edges of the frame are painted in satin black for a perfect finish. This artwork is protected by a matte varnish.)
Presentation
A professional artist since 1995, Eric Winzenried lives in western France. Passionate about landscapes, both real and imagined, he has made them the heart of his work. His exploration of color and synthesis has naturally led him to contemporary landscape painting, while maintaining a high standard of quality in his creations. His series are resolutely abstract, where contemplation and aesthetics take center stage. For him, landscape is much more than a subject: it is a space of freedom where color becomes a language. Convinced of the influence of color on the body and mind, he crafts creations imbued with harmony, offering a unique visual and emotional experience.
