Description
This intriguing artwork presents a distorted figure immersed in a world of vibrant colors. The bright yellow background contrasts sharply with the figure's dark hues, creating a captivating visual tension. Bold black lines define the figure's tortured contours, while bursts of vivid colors, such as red and blue, add an intense emotional dimension. The expressive and compelling face seems to tell a story of inner struggle. The distorted hands and geometric patterns on the body suggest a blend of humanity and abstraction. This juxtaposition of forms and colors conveys a quest for meaning and renewal. The artist manages to capture raw emotion through a unique style, leaving the viewer contemplative and absorbed. A work where expressionism and abstraction converge, offering a profound and personal interpretation.
Presentation
FROM CHAOS TO THE LIVING BEING
When I paint or draw, I start from chaos, I begin to paint spontaneously simple elements, forms, lines, surfaces arranged without preconceived ideas on the canvas. These elements intertwine, associate and give birth to complex forms. I reveal then by drawing on this bottom: figures, members, bodies, objects.
This creates diversified characters, which come from the chaos and inscribe their reality. It is a spontaneous, physical and spiritual act.
