Love-in-a-Mist - Romantic Cottage Garden, 2026

Soos Roxana   Best sellers

The delicate and romantic Love-in-a-Mist, the charming Nigella Damascena, is the subject of this painting, directly inspired by the garden that is about to blast from under the white blanket to make place to the pulsating life that waits for it's moment. I'ts unique petals and lacy bracts bring an air of elegance, tenderness and romantism. Whole clouds of raw, spring green stems will soon fill the background of the garden, with starry flashes of blue, pink and white in many shades. I will have an invasion and I know that the hardest thing for me, as a gardener, will be to decide who to spare (a cruel decision for the gardener). This is Nigella in my world, of the gardener and artist , a wonderful apparition, fluid, fleeting and insistent that carries my imagination into the wonderful world of dreaming.

This beautiful modern floral painting "Love-in-a-Mist - Romantic Cottage Garden" was made with professional varnished acrylics and Amsterdam acrylic sprays on stretched heavy canvas.
