Description
Drawing inspiration from his surroundings, Eddy Vitalone enjoys taking liberties with the concepts he was taught. He greatly admires the artists of the 1970s and 80s, their fluorescent colors, and their innovative mediums. Inspired by Pop Art and masters like Picasso and Miró, he offers us a raw, intuitive, and vibrant style of painting.
With humor and poetry, he depicts caricatured, stereotypical characters and animals. The often bright and shimmering colors of his characters produce a strong visual impact.
