Description
The figure depicted seems to exist in an undefined space, suspended between the world of the living and that of spirits. The earthy, muted background creates a threshold atmosphere, a place of passage where time appears frozen. The luminous presence on the forehead acts as a point of awareness, signaling the fragile boundary between visible and invisible, between incarnation and dissolution.
Inspired by Japanese stories, the work evokes the figure of the , a spirit imprisoned by a persistent emotion—pain, love, regret, or anger—that prevents it from finding peace. The body, traversed by red swirls and organic matter, seems to retain the memory of this earthly attachment. The painting does not tell a specific story, but embodies a state: that of a wandering soul, frozen in its own emotional intensity, true to the aesthetics of the , where suggestion and the unspoken take precedence over narration.
Presentation
Letta K is a painter whose works explore the depths of the human soul and the mysteries surrounding our existence. Born in Ukraine and now based in France, she draws inspiration from the dualities of life: light and shadow, beauty and melancholy, wonder and ignorance.
Her art, both introspective and universal, invites the viewer on a journey beyond appearances, evoking a forgotten spiritual dimension. Through colors and textures that convey the invisible, she addresses the human condition with a sensitivity that, though sometimes unsettling, leaves a lasting impression and encourages reflection.
Each painting by Letta K is an open door to a world where beauty meets pain, and where souls in search of meaning find a mirror to their own emotions. True to her inner expression, she seeks to create works that resonate with emotional depth and rare sincerity.
