Description
This captivating artwork, created on paper on cardboard, is a visual feast of vibrant and bold colors. It depicts an exotic landscape teeming with lush vegetation and organic forms. At its center, stylized palm trees rise amidst multicolored flowers, creating a paradisiacal scene. The deep blue of the water contrasts with the dynamic greens and reds, enlivening the painting. The border, adorned with abstract patterns, frames the whole, adding a surreal dimension. Each element appears to be in motion, evoking the dynamism of nature. The meticulous detail and asymmetrical composition captivate the eye, inviting close exploration. The bold use of color and pattern generates a vibrant and energetic harmony, unique to this work.
Presentation
The circus. The colours, the animals. The performers. Distant memories of sounds, celebrations, movement. I paint to rediscover the emotions of childhood. I paint for the freedom to recreate what has been lost.
I come from the theatre. Words have accompanied me for a very long time. Suddenly, silence, on canvas or paper, and shapes appear, a story is told. It is a wordless adventure that seduces me to the point that I can no longer do without it. I indulge in the pleasure of combining blues, reds and ochres. An infinite variety of possibilities opens up to me, just as Monet's garden flowers did to him.
I paint like a child. I am amazed by the mysterious beauty of painting, by its universal language. I paint so as not to grow up.
