Description

Atmospheric Charcoal Drawing: Mystical Creatures Over Mountains.

Discover "No title 4. Series "What is inside you?"" – a profound charcoal artwork that transcends mere imagery, inviting viewers into a dialogue with their inner landscape. This exquisite piece from the renowned "What is inside you?" series masterfully blends minimalist aesthetics with deep symbolic meaning. Two ethereal, winged creatures gracefully traverse a raw, misty mountainscape, rendered in a sophisticated palette of charcoal blacks, smoky grays, and the natural flaxen tone of the linen canvas. The artist employs these archetypal symbols – mountains, fog, and mythical beings – to explore the hidden essence of human nature: its fears, strengths, and unspoken truths. This original artwork, measuring 60x60 cm, is an exceptional acquisition for collectors and discerning art enthusiasts. It's an artwork that doesn't just decorate a space but enriches it, offering a focal point for contemplation in contemporary, industrial, or minimalist interiors. An ideal statement piece for a modern living room or a distinguished office, and a truly unique art gift that conveys thoughtfulness and artistic appreciation.

Anastasia Ovsyannikova, No title 4. Series What is inside you?

Presentation

Anastasia Ovsyannikova is an artist and physician working at the intersection of traditional and digital media, including painting, graphics, and objects. The foundation of her artistic practice is a neurophenomenological approach, incorporating the principles of neurophysiology, neuroaesthetics, and quantum interactions.

She views the interaction between the artistic visual image and consciousness as a fluid, mutable process that arises at the intersection of bodily experience, memory, and the subjective interpretation of reality. This direction seeks to return to the viewer an awareness of their own nature as a creator, reminding them of the profound connection between art and personal transformation.

Possessing encyclopedic knowledge in the fields of medicine, psychology, and metaphysics, and Academic of International Academy IAMAQ-Italy, Ovsyannikova has developed her own artistic language, termed "missionary sign graphics."

She began her exhibition activity in 2022, participating in international exhibitions in Switzerland, Luxembourg, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, China, the USA, and also in Russia, where she repeatedly won prizes. That same year, she held a solo exhibition at the New Tretyakov Gallery and participated in and won the Russian Art Prize and the Golden Time Talent international competition.

From 2023 to 2025, her works were featured at platforms such as Volta Basel, Aqua Art Miami, Art Wynwood Miami, Art Russia, Artexpo New York, World Art Dubai, Art Ankara, Art of Monaco, as well as in NFT projects in Moscow and at the Urban Culture Fest.

In 2025, Anastasia received the Art Innovation Award in Los Angeles.

Her works and ideas are regularly published in Russian and international professional publications, solidifying her status as one of the prominent representatives of contemporary metamodernist thought.
