Description
A series of acrylic paintings exploring the human figure as a microcosm of the Universe.
Each work portrays the inner world as a concentrated burst of energy — swirling emotions, thoughts, and vital forces that mirror the vast movements of cosmic space. This piece was born during quiet evening sessions in the studio, when I contemplated how our inner emotions mirror the vast, peaceful movements of the cosmos. A serene female profile drifts in slumber, her flowing white hair transforming into lunar clouds and stellar veils. Surrounded by orbiting moons and abstract celestial forms in deep blues and glowing accents, the work evokes a gentle cosmic lullaby — a moment of inner peace amid infinite space.
Presentation
Marina Mark is a contemporary artist trained in classical art. Born in Kazan, at the crossroads of Eastern and Western cultures, she develops a pictorial language where decorative richness meets a mastered formal structure.
A graduate of Kazan Art College, she works primarily with acrylic paint and mixed media. Based in Paris since 2018, she places color at the center of her artistic research, considering it an energy capable of creating an emotional and intuitive resonance with the viewer.
Her works explore themes of the cosmos, spirituality, and the interconnectedness of the living world.
