Description
This dynamic work presents a vibrant collage of vivid splashes of color against a deep blue background. Bursts of red, green, yellow, pink, and other hues immediately captivate the eye, their irregular forms seeming to dance across the canvas. Each brushstroke is energetic and spontaneous, creating a striking contrast with the stability of the solid background. The composition appears random, yet reveals a subtle harmony that guides the eye through the apparent chaos. This painting evokes a sense of continuous movement and vitality, a celebration of chromatic diversity. The use of pure colors and the bold application of paint echo the techniques of abstract expressionism, lending the work undeniable emotional depth and visual richness.
Presentation
David Pasquinelli is a French painter born in 1972.
His work is a search for harmony in chaos through colors, shapes and materials. Using mainly acrylic paint and knife, his style is deeply influenced by artists such as Nicolas de Staël, Mark Rothko, and Pierre Soulages.
The goal of his painting is to ensure that his painting evokes the same emotions as those provided by music or poetry.
For him, the art of painting is similar to creating a melody in music, where a few simple, but perfectly harmonized chords can evoke deep emotion. With this in mind, David strives to find the simplest and purest forms, seeking to capture the essence of emotion in his works.
His paintings are therefore a visual and emotional journey, inviting the viewer to feel rather than simply observe. This unique approach to painting makes this painter a distinctive artist, whose works invite the viewer on a visual journey where emotion and harmony are the sole objective.
