Description
This artwork presents a striking landscape dominated by a gnarled tree whose branches stretch beneath a sky ablaze with yellow and orange hues. The tree's roots intertwine with smooth rocks, bathed in a river that meanders gently through the foreground. The horizon reveals hills with blurred outlines, bathed in a warm light that evokes the tranquility of a summer evening. The contrast between the dark tones of the tree and the bright brilliance of the sky creates a captivating visual tension. The bold use of color immediately draws the eye and invites escapism. This painting is distinguished by its ability to oscillate between tranquility and energy, capturing both the solidity of nature and the ephemeral nature of transitional moments. A true visual celebration of natural beauty.
Presentation
I draw with graphite pencil and ink, watercolour, acrylic paint and oil paint. I like to mix techniques.
For this small-format exhibition, I have chosen to present different aspects of my drawing style and my watercolour practice.
I want you to discover my world, which is sometimes grey and sometimes colourful, often made up of swirls, and a reflection of my thoughts and my wandering mind.
I mainly use 300g/m2 watercolour paper with a fine grain and pure cotton, except for the works entitled Estampe 1 and Éclosion. These were produced on a lighter technical paper.
I invite you to open your mind and your imagination, to discover shapes and colours that I hope will resonate with you.
