Description
Kork 160
Oil painting Early spring Vasily Korkishko reveals the refined mastery of Vasily Korkishko in conveying subtle seasonal transitions and atmospheric depth. The artist depicts a quiet early spring landscape wrapped in mist, where bare trees emerge softly from the haze and reflections shimmer on the thawing water. Korkishko's exceptional control of tone and color creates a delicate balance between cool grays, muted browns, and gentle silvery light, evoking a sense of calm renewal. His smooth, almost velvety brushwork dissolves sharp contours, allowing forms to blend naturally into the surrounding space. The composition emphasizes distance and silence, drawing the viewer into a contemplative mood. This original oil painting demonstrates the artist's high technical skill, sensitivity to nature, and ability to transform a simple landscape into a poetic
Presentation
Korkishko Vasily was born in 1961 in the village of Kuntsevo, Poltava region, but has been living in Dnepropetrovsk for many years
. After the Kharkov art school in 1985 he graduated from the Kharkov art-industrial institute. 5 years later, after participating in republican and all-Union exhibitions in Kharkov, Kiev, Moscow, Korkishko became a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine, although this was then approved in Moscow by the Union of Artists of the USSR.
Landscape occupies a significant place in the work of V. Korkishko. The landscapes express the artist's special reverent feeling before nature. He is attracted to itself, at times, by its barely perceptible states, which each time give the landscape new content. His landscapes are lyrical, they touch the heart and the poetic motives, and the heartfelt color scheme. The movement of the soul is felt in each of his works.
Since the mid-1990s, Vasily Anatolyevich has become a participant in numerous all-Ukrainian and international expositions:
1995 - International Biennale of Ukrainian Art "Pan-Ukraine" (Dnepropetrovsk); 2000 - International Art Festival in Kiev;
2003 - International plein air of artists "Stubichke Toplis" (Croatia); - exhibition "40 names" in Dnepropetrovsk;
