Description

This vibrant still life painting captures a harmonious arrangement of autumn's bounty. At the center, a robust purple pumpkin commands attention, its curves rendered with bold, confident brushstrokes that reveal an interplay of deep blues and subtle highlights. To its right, a pair of golden onions and fresh cucumbers burst with life, their textures and colors vividly realized. A line of deep violet plums trails off to the left, their rich tones providing a visual counterbalance. The draped white tablecloth serves as a muted stage, enhancing the vividness of the produce through soft shadows and reflective light. The backdrop's abstract hints of blues and greens suggest a dynamic, yet serene setting. The painting's lively palette and expressive style transform a simple scene into a celebration of nature's abundance, offering viewers both aesthetic pleasure and a meditative glimpse into everyday beauty.

Works in a creative workshop
Vyacheslav Babak is a recognized master of landscape painting. The artist's canvases are filled with lyricism and romantic mood.
His color palette is devoid of excessive expressiveness; in almost every painting, the image of nature is depicted using the quiet “sound" of soft halftones, giving lightness and depth.
