Original painting from our collection
This artwork captures a vibrant still life, featuring a wicker basket and glass bottles set against a backdrop of a draped, striped cloth. The composition is dynamic, with the cascading fabric providing a sense of movement and depth. The use of bold, expressive brushstrokes infuses the piece with energy, while the palette of vivid colors creates a lively atmosphere. The basket serves as a centerpiece, skillfully textured to convey its woven structure. Surrounding it, the bottles reflect light subtly, adding realism and contrast to the composition. Accompanying them are a few ripe apples, adding a touch of warmth and natural beauty. The interplay of light and shadow is expertly handled, enhancing the three-dimensionality of the objects. This painting is a testament to the artist's ability to combine traditional still-life elements with a modern, expressive approach.

Works in a creative workshop
Vyacheslav Babak is a recognized master of landscape painting. The artist's canvases are filled with lyricism and romantic mood.
His color palette is devoid of excessive expressiveness; in almost every painting, the image of nature is depicted using the quiet “sound" of soft halftones, giving lightness and depth.
