Description
This striking work presents a dark, textured scene dominated by shades of gray and blue. Three barely discernible human figures appear to move within a hazy interior, blurred by superimposed layers that add depth and mystery. The artist plays with transparency and a layering technique that suggests a nostalgic memory or a past dream. The painting evokes an ephemeral, almost spectral atmosphere, where forms merge into a semi-abstract setting. Each brushstroke adds an enigmatic dimension, inviting the viewer to look beyond the surface to uncover its subtle narrative. This innovative use of texture enriches the work, offering an immersive and thought-provoking experience.

Depré): nude models, drawings, painting, engraving; workshop atmosphere, academic but also free learning. Learning and detaching oneself from one's models: Impare l'arte et mettila da parte.
