Description
When I conceived this work, I thought deeply about sensitivity as one of the emotions that best represents the artist, in any discipline. Although I organized the structure using planes and irregular geometric shapes—giving it a certain rigidity—it is through color that I infused the forms with sensitivity.
The tonal range is essentially warm, with very soft nuances that flow across the structure through brushstrokes and subtle shifts in color, all within a unified palette. This treatment softened the geometric forms, giving rise to a gradual and gentle aesthetic harmony that I felt the viewer could deeply enjoy by engaging with their most authentic emotions.
Presentation
Delia Solari is an Argentine painter, who worked on Neo Geometric Figuration and is now dedicated to Geometric Abstraction, with her own style that she called "Sensitive Planimetric Structuralism", whose development is explained in the book of her authorship "ESTETIC STATEMENTS".
She studied drawing, painting and composition with Mari Lagsner, Alfredo De Vicenzo, Marta Lozano, Julio Giustozzi and Juan Carlos Chasco Ross, History of Art with Jorge López Anaya and Theory and Philosophy of Art with Fermín Fevre.
She made Exhibitions in Galleries and Museums all over the world.
The French critic Ionel Jianou commented on her work “What richness and variety in the topics covered! From the most ingenious combinations of geometric figures to the relationship between music and painting, from the problems of light to the resonance and harmony of colors, from the tenderness and sensitive aspect of images to the vision of a movement cosmic, everything has been dealt with intelligence, strength and fervor in Delia Solari's dialogue with the Universe ".
