This work is an outstanding example of contemporary hyperrealist painting, in which the classical genre of still life acquires an unexpected, almost cinematic dimension. Executed in oil, the painting demonstrates the artist's exceptional mastery in conveying light, texture, and the emotional potential of the material world.

The composition is built around several seemingly simple objects: a halved lime, a pair of transparent eyeglasses, and flowing silk fabric. Yet it is precisely this apparent simplicity that allows the artist to focus on the complex visual interactions between form, color, and reflection. Each element becomes an independent bearer of meaning, while the composition as a whole transforms into a refined meditation on sensual perception.

The central focus of the work is the vividly rendered lime slice, painted with astonishing precision and detail. The transparent eyeglasses add a further layer of meaning, becoming a symbol of vision, observation, and the subjectivity of perception. Their reflective surfaces introduce additional spatial complexity, drawing the viewer into a sophisticated interplay between reality and illusion.
