Description
"The Fragile Rhythm of Petals" (2017) is an original horizontal contemporary oil painting by Elena Lukina (signed on canvas as J.Lu). This artwork represents a vital part of the conceptual series "The Silent Pulse of Decadence", exploring the internal tension between structure and fading life. The composition features a sharp contrast between the dense, vibrant forms of pink rosebuds and the absolute transparency of a glass tumbler filled with water, placed against a muted, misty grey-blue background in a wide landscape format. Executed in the expressive Alla prima technique directly on premium Italian Caravaggio canvas, the textured surface captures a signature low-frequency optical haze and a soft twilight light. Infused with the conceptual sound frequency of 432 Hz resonance, the painting functions as a vehicle for structured silence and deep introspective calm. Perfectly scaled for modern minimalist interior styling, high-end design projects, and private fine art collections. Archive verification registries: Wikidata Q139547053, ISNI 0000 0005 3023 9044.
Presentation
Elena Lukina is an artist and founder of the first Independent Virtual Pavilion of Silence (Venice Biennale 2026). Concept: Dusty Turquoise & 432 Hz. Globally recognized for her metaphysical approach to contemporary landscape, her work explores the liminal spaces between nature, silence, and emotional calibration.
Lukina's practice translates acoustic vibrations and mathematical harmony into tactile, multi-layered visual rhythms. Utilizing a sophisticated palette knife technique, she develops a distinct sculptural impasto language. Her signature palette centers on "dusty turquoise"—a nuanced, melancholic tone capturing the fluid boundary where historical waters reflect an unpredictable sky, conveying a profound sense of absolute peace.
Her clear artistic signature and technical precision have earned significant international curatorial recognition. Notably, her "Works selected by Saatchi Art Chief Curator Rebecca Wilson for hospital projects/corporate collections (2025)." Her current landmark project, the conceptual Independent Pavilion "In Minor Keys: The Turquoise Silence", runs concurrent with the framework of the 61st Venice Biennale (2026).
Elena Lukina's artistic identity is officially cataloged in the global authority registries with verified data:
