Description

Acrylic painting on canvas - Unique piece - 100 cm x 100 cm - 2025

Between digital and human: towards a radiant city
This series questions the fragile balance between the explosion of the contemporary world, the dreamed radiant city, the digital and the human. The forms and colors carry a woman's gaze on the beauty of Nature, the presence of flowers and the possibility of reconciliation. A "Transplanetary Journey" where tension, memory and hope meet.

Presentation

Rejecting the limits of traditional media, Geneviève Brozec's pictorial language expresses itself today at the crossroads of abstract and figurative painting. Her practice is part of a search for creative freedom guided by intuition and the independence of her vision.
Her artistic work is a sensitive exploration of the contemporary world, nourished by her travels and her observations of human mechanisms.
Faced with the great themes that structure her observation of the world, Geneviève Brozec translates Nature in all the richness of its flora, fauna, and elements, as well as Humanity through its uses, customs, behaviors, and daily interactions.
Her positioning and her view of the world are characterized by a benevolent, tolerant, and judgment-free approach.
Geneviève Brozec composes her works around a constant search for balance between structure, contrasts, and colors. These last act as an emotional vector, while structure provides the rhythm and contrasts reveal the depth of the subjects. The superposition of materials and collages creates a dialogue between the textures and the different levels of reading of the work.
The singularity of her artistic approach is part of an instinctive search, born from a vital need to create. For the Painter Artist, each work constitutes a space for reflection where the experience of travel, inner sensitivity, and observation of the contemporary world intersect.

Geneviève Brozec is a French Painter Artist who spent her childhood in Lisbon in a family environment marked by artistic sensitivity. As an early child, she obtained her baccalaureate at the age of 16 and began her higher studies at the Sorbonne, where she nourished herself on the cultural richness of Paris, poetry, and museum heritage.
She began her professional career within the pharmaceutical industry, developing expertise in public relations and communication. After twenty years of experience, she founded her own agency specializing in medical communication and events, notably supporting pharmaceutical laboratories in their product launch strategies in France.
After her successful professional career, Geneviève Brozec decided to travel the world through long immersive solitary stays on several continents. Her objective has always been to refocus and observe Nature, landscapes, populations, and their postures in relation to the world and their environment.
Practiced for many years, her artistic approach took on a new dimension during the 2020 pandemic. When her rhythm of life was interrupted, she began to draw, write, and then paint. Strong with her literary training, she first deepened her writing before gradually turning to painting, a medium in which she finds her most accurate mode of expression. This period of introspection acts as a revealer and marks the beginning of a plastic search.
Geneviève Brozec highlights through her works her wonder for life, the acceptance of differences, and her vision of a world where every existence finds its place. Her work testifies to an attentive gaze directed at the living and the diversity of the relationships that unite human beings to their environment.
After three years of intensive training dedicated to her artistic practice, Geneviève Brozec began to exhibit her work. Her works now integrate several private collections in France.
