Description
This circular composition explores the interplay of matter and light. The tondo format invites an organic way of viewing the work. A golden background dominates the surface, evoking either a celestial body or a cell seen under a microscope.
The eye moves through areas of light and shadow, where shades of blue and grey intertwine at the center. A touch of deep red introduces a point of visual tension, while the textured surface lends the work a tangible sense of relief.
