Description
First, she walked, and now paused to reflect. This painting is an exploration of the human experience, our joys and sorrows, our memories and dreams, our struggles and triumphs, and the endless ways we learn to live, love, heal, and transform. The patterned body represents personal stories, symbols, and inner worlds. The simplified face expresses joyful awareness, as if awakening to one's own presence for the first time. Surrounding figures suggest that transformation does not happen alone, but in relation to others, supported and shared. Butterflies serve as quiet affirmations that change is both liberating and beautiful.
Presentation
I’m drawn to unusual things because I believe it reveals the truth of oneself, so I use unusual figures to translate emotional states into visual language. The patterned body represents personal stories, symbols, and inner worlds. The simplified face expresses joyful awareness, as if awakening to one's own presence for the first time. Surrounding figures suggest that transformation does not happen alone, but in relation to others, supported, and shared. Butterflies serve as quiet affirmations that change is both liberating and beautiful.
