Description
A vast expanse of cerulean blue dominates the composition. The horizon blurs into a soft haze. A singular landmass floats in the center of this liquid void. It appears as a fragile sliver of earth. Vivid strokes of yellow and green suggest a distant shoreline. White impasto highlights create the illusion of crashing surf or rocky cliffs. The brushwork is gestural and spontaneous. It captures a sense of profound isolation and serenity. The artist balances the weight of the deep blue depths against the lightness of the floating island. This artwork explores the tension between stillness and movement. The saturation of the pigment evokes a Mediterranean light. The composition remains minimalist and evocative. It invites a meditative state through its rhythmic use of color. A subtle signature rests in the lower right corner. The texture of the canvas remains visible beneath the thin layers of paint.
Presentation
I am an artist based in Bulgarian and over the years of my creative experience I have followed a long path – a winding exploration of abstract art and its borders. Sometimes, the picture would present a peaceful sea embracing the endless depth of the clear sky of a calm mind, sometimes it would present an eruption of the forces born deep into the depths of the human soul.
While painting these emotional landscapes, I neither try to expose „the true nature“ of emotions, nor to present them beautifully - my struggle is to present them just as they happened to be in a particular moment. My artworks are possession of The National Art Gallery of Bulgaria, other public and private galleries in Bulgaria, private collections in Austria, Belgium, Greece, USA, Germany, Serbia and Montenegro, Cyprus, Switzerland, Poland, France, South Korea.
