Jezreel valley Kfar Yehoshua, 2026

Inbal Aharoni

This painting captures a serene landscape defined by a vast, open horizon. A dominant mountain range anchors the composition. Its slopes shift through muted shades of grey and ochre. The brushwork is confident and textured. It evokes a sense of atmospheric depth and natural stillness.
In the foreground, the artist depicts a rural settlement. Small buildings nestle within a golden field. These structures provide a human scale to the towering peaks behind them. The earth is rendered in rich, earthy tones. Deep browns and amber hues suggest the warmth of late afternoon light.
The sky occupies a significant portion of the canvas. Pale whites and soft blues blend seamlessly. This choice enhances the feeling of solitude and peace. Every stroke contributes to a harmonious balance between the wildness of the highlands and the quietude of the valley. The artwork invites the viewer into a contemplative space. It reflects a precise observation of light and geographical form. The focus remains on the timeless dialogue between the land and the sky.
