Description
The artist painted this study from life during a creative trip to Turunc, Turkey in 2026, using the alla prima technique in a single session. A luminous Mediterranean coast unfolds in this vibrant landscape Turunc, Turkey. Sunlight dances across the turquoise water. The brushwork is tactile and confident. Rhythmic dabs of paint create a shimmering surface. Small boats float calmly near the shore. Their bright colors break the cool blue tones. A rugged limestone cliff rises sharply from the beach. Pale ochre and sandy whites define the rocky terrain. In the distance, soft purple mountains merge with a hazy sky. The composition balances the stillness of the sea with the strength of the land. Light is the central subject here. It captures the essence of a warm afternoon. The atmosphere feels airy and serene. Each stroke enhances the depth of the coastal vista. This artwork celebrates the harmony of nature through a saturated palette. The reflection of the boats adds a touch of gold to the water. It is a masterful study of light and color. The gaze is led from the foreground ripples to the distant peaks.
