Description
A vibrant explosion of light and color. This abstract composition pulses with energy. Bold strokes of ochre and cadmium orange dominate the upper horizon. The technique is tactile and instinctive. Thick applications of paint create a rich surface relief. Every mark feels deliberate yet spontaneous. Shards of white peek through the layers. This creates a shimmering effect of refracted light. The eye travels across the canvas in a sweeping motion. It mirrors the organic chaos of nature. There is a profound balance between the warmth of the sky and the coolness of the earth. The artwork captures a fleeting atmospheric moment. It transforms a sensory experience into a visual symphony of contrasting hues. A dense tapestry of fragmented shapes defines the overall structure.
Presentation
Art for me is the freedom to express the different shades of color of the human soul. Putting the colors on the canvas is a kind of meditation. My hands move in a certain rhythm using a spatula to mix the colors directly on the canvas. I let the colors and my soul choose their direction. In fact the colors take their direction by themselves. I know exactly when my painting is ready, usually when it has reached a certain color balance. My major influences are Monet and Cezanne. I really appreciate the works of Van Gogh, Sissley Renoir and Micheal Angelo. I am fascinated by Japanese art and calligraphy.
