Description
Lotus Beyond the Moon is a unique sculptural abstract painting created by Inès Rouissi in 2022.
Against a deep nocturnal background of navy blue, turquoise and mineral tones, a large textured silver moon appears surrounded by lotus flowers in white, aqua, deep blue and gold. Fine metallic lines travel through the composition like flowing water, living roots or distant constellations.
The artwork was entirely created by hand through successive layers of acrylic, resin, relief materials and artistic pigments. Its three-dimensional elements capture light and produce changing reflections and shadows according to the viewing angle.
Rouissi connects botanical symbolism with cosmic abstraction. The lotus represents renewal, resilience and awakening: a form of beauty capable of rising from darkness toward light. The silver moon evokes reflection, intuition and the passage of time, while gold introduces warmth, abundance and positive energy.
The composition has a strong physical presence. From a distance, it appears balanced and dreamlike; viewed closely, it reveals a complex network of textures, metallic details and handcrafted reliefs.
Lotus Beyond the Moon is an original and unreproducible artwork, not a print or edition. It is hand-signed and dated “R. Ines 2022" on the front and fully documented on the reverse.
A Certificate of Authenticity issued by Abstract Art Gallery is included. The work also benefits from the gallery's lifetime authenticity guarantee.
To protect its sculptural surface, the artwork is never rolled and is delivered exclusively flat between reinforced XPS panels. Worldwide tracked delivery via DHL Express.

Presentation
Born on January 25, 1977, Inès Rouissi develops a distinctive artistic approach deeply rooted in the Mediterranean world, at the intersection of research, material, and spatial perception.
From an early age, she has explored the interactions between interior and exterior environments, developing both an instinctive and analytical understanding of volumes, textures, and atmospheres.
Her work is driven by continuous research, where each creation becomes a living study of the relationships between light, structure, and perception.
Through a practice that is both intuitive and methodical, she creates compositions where balance, fluidity, and visual coherence are central.
Her artworks are characterized by their ability to generate immersive and natural atmospheres, inspired by Mediterranean landscapes and their sensory richness. Each piece becomes an evolving experience, designed to interact with its environment and transform subtly over time.
