L'Eclat Du Silence, 2026

Fabrice Mangin

The balance is established between geometric rigor and gestural freedom. The composition is divided into three vertical bands. The center evokes an abstract landscape. Shades of deep blue interweave with silver flashes. The eye travels through horizontal strata. These lines recall the surface of a night water or a distant horizon.
On either side, two dark panels frame the scene. Golden filaments intertwine relentlessly in them. These spontaneous lines create a complex network. The contrast between the black background and the gleam of the metal brings a precious dimension. The circular movement of the lines dialogues with the stability of the center.
The material plays an essential role. The accumulation of layers creates a subtle relief. The light glides over the metallized areas. The whole oscillates between order and chaos. This piece plays on the duality of forms. It opposes the serenity of blue to the energy of the golden line. The canvas ends with touches of pure white that illuminate the central part.
