Description
Acrylic, oil pastel on canvas
Some of our most treasured memories are made on days when we have nothing special planned. Unexpected encounters, walks through unfamiliar streets, warm sunshine, and the feeling that time is in no hurry. These are often the moments that stay with us for a lifetime.
Venice seems made for moments like these. Here, it's easy to forget everyday worries, allow yourself to dream a little, and simply enjoy the moment. All around, the sunlit facades of historic buildings, a peaceful canal, and golden light fill the city with warmth.
The painting is created in the style of contemporary impressionism, where color, light, and movement take center stage. A warm palette of golden, peach, and creamy tones blends with soft pastel shades and vibrant accents of turquoise, mint, and green. Loose, expressive brushstrokes and gestural painting techniques create a sense of air, flowing water, and shimmering sunlight.
Architectural forms gradually dissolve into color, leaving only the recognizable outlines of romantic Venice. Rather than capturing the city in precise detail, the painting focuses on its atmosphere, mood, and the feeling of a beautiful, fleeting moment.
“Meet Me in Venice" is a story of anticipation, romantic journeys, and those special moments when it feels as though the most beautiful things in life are still ahead of us.
“Meet Me in Venice" is part of Inner Landscapes series, which explores emotions, feelings, and states of mind through color, light, and nature. In this series, landscapes become more than just places - they reflect our inner world, capturing moments of beauty, stillness, and the feelings we wish to hold on to.
The original painting will be carefully rolled and shipped in a protective tube to ensure safe delivery.
