Armonía Abstracta: Siluetas de Gatos Fragmentadas, 2026

Silvia Cereijo

This highly refined, expressive, and captivating acrylic work on canvas is inserted within the contemporary abstract figurative style with marked influences of synthetic cubism, orphism, fauvism, and Art Deco, standing out for its impeccable deconstruction of space in a network of faceted planes and firm linear contours. The composition presents two stylized felines resting together in a domestic environment integrated by architectural blocks and superimposed geometric shapes. The artist deploys a bold and saturated color palette dominated by rich tones of intense red, cobalt blue, bright orange, pure white, and deep accents of black, delimited by precise lines that bring rhythm and distinction to the entire scene. Through this formal synthesis and the stylization of the animal figure, the creator seeks to express the silent complicity of domestic life, the tenderness of companionship, and the poetic beauty that emerges when transforming an everyday scene into a lyrical kaleidoscope of color, balance, and plastic transcendence.
