Description
Presentation
In perpetual quest for freedom, she re-enchants everyday life with her bursts of color ... Caroline Cavalier was born in Brive in 1971. She was a student at the Academy of Fine Arts in Brive, then at the School of Fine Arts in Perpignan , before joining an advertising agency as a graphic designer. She then devoted herself fully to her activity as a visual artist, then she created her own workshop in Roussillon, a workshop in which she taught the practice of plastic arts. Worthy representative of the School of Free Figuration, she gives us to see scenes of everyday life populated by joyfully enigmatic characters. Whether through paintings, sculpted objects or polychrome raw wood assemblies, it attracts and invigorates the viewer's eye. As a visual observer, she plays with academism, juggles with colors and dares a poetic mapping of characters who resemble us or whom we would like to resemble. Caroline Cavalier's heart is in direct line with recreational happiness. His painting is lively, energetic and colorful, it attracts and invigorates the viewer's eye ...
