This evocative still life painting showcases a sumptuous arrangement of vibrant pomegranates, masterfully capturing their rich ruby hues and textured surfaces. Situated atop a dark wooden table, the artwork conveys an air of elegance and classical refinement. A crystal-clear glass bowl holds the pomegranates, accentuated by a sprig of lush green leaves and dark berries, adding depth and a touch of nature. Beside the bowl, a halved pomegranate reveals its glistening seeds, meticulously detailed to highlight their luscious appeal. The draped golden-brown fabric beneath suggests luxury, drawing the eye with its gentle folds and subtle play of light. This composition beautifully juxtaposes simplicity and opulence, inviting viewers to appreciate both the intrinsic beauty of natural forms and the timeless charm of classical still life techniques. The artist's skillful use of chiaroscuro enhances the overall mood, imbuing the scene with warmth and an intimate allure.

The bodegones are a pictorial interpretation based on a research project by famous chef Juan Carlos Franco, on ancient food recipes from different periods of history. The photographer recreated the images inspired by paintings and images from these eras, also drawing inspiration from artists such as Leonardo DA Vinci, Albrecht Dürer and others.
